Why did I Write a book?
Why write Agency Success Roadmap? Over and Over during my coaching Sessions, My students Would say, "is this stuff Written Down Anywhere?" or "You should write a book!" Trust me, the last thing my teachers in high school or college would have expected from me, was writing a book, but i did it. I wrote this book to provide a real-world roadmap that empowers both existing and future agency owners with a proven guidance system that allows them to achieve Growth, Profit, and Success as rapidly as possible. I chose the title, Agency Success Roadmap, because it perfectly describes a path or roadmap to a successful Agency. In 12 Chapters, I break down what is necessary to have a well-organized, smooth running and profitable agency. The 12 topics range FROM, Why have a Niche, What is Productization, How do I get Leads and Generate Traffic TO Leadership, Project Management and Sales and Marketing Automation. Who is Lee Goff?
I Am An Entrepreneur Who Grew Up In The Deep South, Raised In Pascagoula, Mississippi By People Who Taught Me To Work Hard And Do What Is Right. I Started My First Agency, GETUWired, In 2003 In My Upstairs Bedroom With Absolutely Nothing. After Growing GETUWired Into A Multi-million-dollar Agency, Winning 2012 Technology Partner Of The Year, 2013 Infusionsoft Innovator Of The Year, Top Company Culture - Entrepreneur Magazine In 2015, And Infusionsoft Elite Business Of The Year Finalist In 2015, and Many More Accomplishments, I Decided To Step Out And Retire. I Took The Advice Of Jim Collins And The Infusionsoft Leadership And Began Handing Off Leadership Responsibilities, Eventually Leading To My Retirement From The Agency In Early 2014. Then In June Of 2016 I Sold Out The Remaining Shares To My long-time Partners To Pursue My Passion Of Mentoring Small Businesses. Leading, Guiding, Mentoring And Encouraging Other Entrepreneurs Down A Slightly Easier Road Than I Had, Is My True Mission!

A Few Tips When Hiring a Digital Agency Coach?
- Don't waste your time - i am a firm believer in the right mindset and being motivated, but so many times business coaches want to be psychologists and not truly focus on developing the skills that will truly help the agency. true business agency coaching is about guiding agency owners on how to grow their agency as a result of “discovering breakthroughs and implementing proven best-practice systems and processes that eventually remove the owner from the day-to-day operations…and these are often too complex and difficult to implement without proper coaching and mentorship” on systems/processes instead of an in-depth psychological breakdown.
- Driven by Your agency's success, not their own success - Great coaches are driven by their students' successes, not their own. If the coach you are interviewing is constantly throwing their success in your face and not their students' successes in your face, RUN! Thank goodness this is not the case most of the time!
- Personality Match - There are some amazing coaches out there, but they may not be the right fit for you. I recommend finding a coach with an aggressive personality and one that will challenge you to achieve your (BHAG - Big Hairy Audacious Goals), hold you accountable and also recognize when to back off because of workload.
- Call it like it is (straight shooter) - A person who always agrees with you won’t push you forward. At the same time, a good digital agency coach chooses the right time and the right way to tell you what uncomfortable truths could be and help you make the best decisions.
